Dr. Sarah Parcak is Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Alabama–Birmingham, the winner of the 2016 TED Prize, and a space archaeologist. Parcak will discuss her pioneering use of satellite remote sensing to discover countless ancient ruins around the world and Global Xplorer, a platform that will enable citizen-scientists to join in the hunt.
