Description

"From D-Day to V-Day”

In partnership with the Boshell Family Lecture Series for World Art and Archaeology

Celebrate the seventieth anniversary of D-Day by brushing up on the dramatic story of the U.S. Army's involvement in World War II. Join this three-time Pulitzer Prize winner as he discusses the third installment of his Liberation trilogy, Guns at Last Light, which begins its narrative with the brutal battle of Normandy, then leads to the liberation of Paris, the disaster at Market Garden, the horrific Battle of the Bulge, and the collapse of the Third Reich. The final volume is a literary triumph worthy of the military triumph it explores.
