AGES 9-12
1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
Teacher: Tammy Gore
Do you like to take things apart, dream up novel inventions, or turn old scraps into new creations? Then full S.T.E.A.M. ahead! Explore the intersection of science, engineering, art, and more as we tinker, doodle, and design in the studio. We’ll find inspiration in the Museum’s collection, and then build miniature chairs, create grid-style portraits, draw mechanical moving parts, and explore the world of symmetry. If you can think it, we’ll try to make it!
New for 2016! We are pleased to now offer After Camp Care. For an additional $25 for Public and DMA Members, your child may stay late until 4:30 p.m. each day and enjoy additional supervised activities, games, and projects.
