C3 Artistic Encounter:Wonderful Wire Wearables with James Thurman

Wonderful Wearables! After a brief visit to the inspiring Art Smith jewelry exhibition, we will return to the studio to design and create Modernist inspired wire jewelry.  A variety of basic metalworking techniques used by Art Smith in the creation of his work will be explored: bending, forming, hammering.  Each participant will have the opportunity to make their own piece! All materials provided. Adults 18 and older.
