In connection with Visions of America: Three Centuries of Prints from the National Gallery of Art, this workshop will give you the chance to make your own linoleum prints. Before going into the studio, you will learn about the exhibition and the printmaking processes represented by the works on view. Instructed by Steven Foutch, Assistant Professor of Printmaking at the University of Dallas, you will create your design on linoleum and carve it out to make your print block. Then you will print your design on paper to create a finished piece to frame or put on a tote bag.
Included in your ticket is:
Admission and tour of Visions of America: Three Centuries of Prints from the National Gallery
Finished linocut design printed on paper or tote
