An Evening Celebrating Two Giants: Juan Rulfo and Cardona Peña

In partnership with Teatro Dallas, the DMA will honor two of the most celebrated Latin American authors of the twentieth century, Juan Rulfo and Alfredo Cardona Peña, with a world premiere of theatrical adaptations of short stories and contemporary dance. Come early and enjoy a festive Mexican-themed dinner and drinks in the DMA Cafe, view the Days of the Dead altar set up by artist Sara Cardona, and enjoy a short talk by Cora Cardona about the origins and symbolism of Days of the Dead celebrations.
