On behalf of the Dallas Museum of Art League, we invite you to be part of our signature fundraiser Art in Bloom 2018: Power of Flowers. The Luncheon will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018, at the Dallas Museum of Art. Art in Bloom benefits the Dallas Museum of Art’s education programs and the League’s Floral Endowment Fund. This year the designated education program beneficiaries are:
Please support the Art in Bloom 2018 beneficiaries by attending, underwriting, or sponsoring a part of our event.
We are excited to welcome New York artist Michael De Feo known as the Flower Guy. De Feo will delight and entertain us with his floral interpretations while sharing his unique path to success. After the presentation, guests will enjoy a seated lunch, with silent and live auction in the Museum’s Atrium. The day continues in the Level 2 European Galleries viewing Flowers – An Exhibition, a display of floral arrangements created by local floral designers and inspired by works of art in the DMA's permanent collection. Art in Bloom 2018 Patrons and Sponsors will be the first to view this incredible show at the Patron/Sponsor Party on March 23 before the exhibit opens to all DMA visitors.
This year we offer an opportunity for you to honor the “Flower who empowered” you in your life. As a tribute, a bio and a picture of your “Flower” will be featured in the program, and a picture of your “Flower” will be placed on your luncheon table.
During the event, Art in Bloom Chair, Dyann Skelton, will raffle off one of Michael De Feo's original works of art, valued at $2,000. Also offered in the raffle is a Chef Experience with Craig James. Tickets for the raffle may be purchased online at $25 a ticket or 5 for $100.
