Happy, sad, angry, or excited – we all have feelings and emotions. Explore moods and expression during our FREE Autism Awareness Family Celebration.
Experience how different feelings can look during a hands-on workshop with an actor from the Dallas Children’s Theater and let your emotions loose with movement in the courtyard. Enjoy an interactive performance with a music therapist, relax in our sensory room facilitated by occupational therapy students from Texas Women’s University, experience stories in the galleries with our resident storyteller, and kids ages 12 and over can enjoy a gallery tour just for older kids - all before public hours.
Families will have the opportunity to explore the interactives in the Center for Creative Connections during this special private event and are also invited to stay when the Museum opens to the public at 11:00 a.m. to enjoy additional family programming.
