Join Dr. Heather MacDonald, Curator of Bouquets: French Sill Life from Chardin to Masisse and the Lillian and James H. Clark Associate Curator of European Art, for a closer investigation of the exhibition's varied artists and themes. This lecture will introduce floral still life paintings and trace how French artists creatively explored this genre over the course of nearly two centuries, from the 1750s to the 1930s.
