A myriad of characters in some of the most volatile political arenas of the Vietnam War star in Logevall’s 2013 Pulitzer Prize-winning book Embers of War: The Fall of an Empire and the Making of America’s Vietnam. Logevall teaches history at Cornell University and serves as the Director for the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies. The author and editor of nine books, Logevall’s commentary has also appeared on CBS, BBC, CNN International, and NPR.
