Based on the exciting new book Mary Bowser and the Civil War Spy Ring, Spy on History LIVE! is an interactive theatrical experience for kids about the true story of Mary Bowser, a former slave-turned-spy who delivered key intelligence secrets during the Civil War. And who better to teach children spy techniques than the Story Pirates—a national troupe of actors, comedians, musicians and teaching artists whose mission is to celebrate the words and ideas of young people.
