As a valued DMA Member, you are invited to join us for an exclusive opportunity to hear Anna Katherine Brodbeck, The Nancy and Tim Hanley Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art at the Dallas Museum of Art in conversation with Bart Weiss, Director of the Dallas Video Festival and Associate Professor University of Texas at Arlington, speak about Truth: 24 frames per second exploring the Museum’s history of collecting film and video art. This conversation will highlight Dallas figures in the history of time-based media, showcase the city as a filming location and a community of makers, and provide insight into how institutions have engaged in its dissemination and engaged with issues that are important to the community.

The Museum is open until 9:00 p.m for DMA Members and Dallas VideoFest guests to arrive early to see the exhibition, have a snack and beverage in the DMA Cafe, a full meal at Socca, or shop the DMA Store.

Please check-in at the Membership desk to receive your wristband for the evening. 

Seating in Horchow Auditorium is on a first-come, first-served basis.
